HMS Kirkliston
|
In 1971 Princess Anne visited the ship
in Hong Kong. Apparently after April 1971 the buntings were replaced with
sparkers and so Terry Sterland (resident sparker) was then joined by Roy McKee.
On this occasion it was Roy who hoisted the Royal Standard.
Princess Anne
embarked in the New Territories and sailed to HMS Tamar, Hong Kong. Note the
Union Flag being flown on the jackstaff whilst underway.
Princess Anne and the Commodore (Wykes-Sneyd?) disembarks from Kirkliston at HMS Tamar, Hong Kong.
