Her Majesty's Motor Minesweeper 1807

They were nicknamed Mickey Mouses', they were made of timber and were coastal minesweepers. The sweepers that took over from them were the Ton class. The last full flotilla was the 104th operating in the Med during the Cyprus emergency. A crew of 16 with 2 officers. The 1807 operated from Portland under independent command for a civilian scientific project called H.M.U.D.E.
